A Decade Of Music

From conception to end, each album took the better part of a year after all of the instruments, background samples and wildlife sounds were acquired and recorded. Because this was a solo recording project, everything had to be recorded 1 track, 1 instrument at a time.  When a song finally got it's structure, rhythms & instrumentation, I could see and feel the whole thing taking shape.

A Lifetime Of Enjoyment

The Flutes, Drums and Percussion are all "acoustical instruments". Each instrument has it's own unique sound, unique character and ambience. So  each one had to be set up differently, not like in a recording studio where everything plugs in and away you go. The mic placement had to be changed time and time again to acquire the right feeling and sound before the recording process could take place.
